Audi’s flagship SUV received some extensive changes for 2011. They got rid of their anemic V6 and V8 engines and added a supercharged V6 in both gas and diesel fuels and mated them to their 8-speed automatic transmission. They also added more standard features to their Premium Plus and Prestige models. This makes a vehicle that was purposefully bred for long distance highway travel an even more luxurious way to travel to grandma’s house. For 2011 the Prestige gains xenon headlights, LED running lights, a panoramic sunroof, a rearview camera, auto-dimming and power-folding mirrors, driver memory functions, a navigation system and the Bose surround-sound system with HD radio, and DVD audio capability. This vehicle also has the Warm Weather package which adds a deep-tint to the panoramic sunroof, four-zone automatic climate control and manual sunshades for the rear doors and tailgate. This vehicle was also upgraded to the 20” alloy wheel package. Our sister store The Import Mechanics brought all the service up to date with a fresh synthetic oil service, replaced air, cabin and fuel filters and even replaced the wiper blades.
