I have been taking my volvo to Mike at RMV for a year now. He has always been straight up with his work and offers a good price for service. He has helped us with getting all issues fixed in a timely manner.

We have taken our two Volvos to this shop over the past year. We have had two bad incidents and will not go back. We took in one 97 Volvo because it seemed that brand new batteries were dying. One brand new battery died after the car was sat in our garage for a month. RMVS thought it was a bad battery. So, we bought a new battery from RMVS. That battery died after two weeks. We went back and he FINALLY figured out it was the alternator. So, he fixed the alternator and we've had no problems since. But, he did not own up to his initial misdiagnosis of just a bad battery. Our second incident involved not being able to fuel up after we left our car on his lot for two days to have our check engine light checked. We were on our way to Utah when we stopped in Evergreen to gas up. The pump would shut off as if the tank was full. We called RMVS from the gas station and he said he had seen this before and it was due to spider webs in the gas line! Our car is garage parked. We have been in CO for a year and this has never happened, until it was left at RMVS for two days. We suspect RMVS had kinked a hose when they were examing the fuel tank for the check engine light.
